From Lausanne to Beijing international fibre art biennial exhibition.

The Tsinghua Museum exhibits works by the 2018 art finalists involved in the ‘from Lausanne to Beijing International fibre art biennial exhibition’ an annual exhibition that brings the finest fibre artist in the globe.
‘Close ups” ; photos printed on a 221cm by 56 cm silk fabric introduce us to a U.S. artist Joan schulze who has been involved in the biennial exhibition for 16 years and has witness its evolution and the development of fibre art in China and the world.
“What is most significant of biennial exhibition is that it brings together excellent fibre art works across the world through which we can know the different methods of fibre art creation and the best way to display works.” she says.
